It didn't take me long to find online dating websites. The three sites that I signed up for are LargePassions, BBWRomance and BBWDating. So I got my pics ready which was a bitch because I have most of them at my job. Some are a bit outdated and I wished I had more to choose from but I am not that photogenic. I just hate pictures of myself...anyway, one picture I posted was from my cousin's birthday party in October 2009 that was at a club. It's a group picture so I am in the photo with my girlfriends and I was wasted. I laugh because I look good in that picture and I don't even remember taking it. The other picture was also sometime in 2009 so they aren't super outdated, it's just that my social life has slowed down. That's part of the problem. Nobody wants to go out anymore. Happy hours have dried up and most of my friends either live in NY or are officially old ladies. No more clubs, no more happy hours, no more staying out til 5 and I am bored. So I am really counting on this online dating to bring a little excitement to my life.
Then it's time to write my profile and write another one and then another. I was changing my profile every other day like it was a Facebook Wall. It was really getting ridiculous. Just this morning, I saw a sign on a storefront that said they sold the authentic Top Gun jacket and I just busted out laughing. I couldn't imagine who the hell would buy that unless it was Halloween and I immediatly thought I needed to update my BBWDating profile. That's when I decided to start this blog. So later on, I will post some of my my online dating profiles. I have to warn you, there are a lot. If you actually read them, I would love to hear what you think?
